Arena Programs

As part of our phased approach, Parks, Recreation & Culture facilities will gradually begin to re-open, starting on August 17 with the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex (arena only). More gradual re-openings will happen on September 8, September 9, and mid-October. Dates are subject to change. Follow for specific facility re-opening and safety protocol updates.

The City of Surrey's arenas provide people of all ages and abilities with a range of skating lessons and hockey programs.

Our approach to reopening is gradual to ensure the safety of both our patrons and staff.  As each arena reopens, we will evaluate procedures and programs and modify as necessary before opening more. All facilities and activities will meet strict health and safety guidelines as set out by the Provincial Health Officer, Worksafe BC, Fraser Health and viaSport; the provincial body that oversees organized sport groups.

User Groups

Arenas will open first to user groups with approved Return to Sport safety plans in place to provide practice of skill development. Review the Arena Re-Opening Guidelines for Minor Sport
