Recreation Facility Update

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain our facilities for a safe and efficient reopening. In addition to our regularly scheduled annual maintenance and projects for 2020, staff are working ahead on future maintenance measures which will increase our operational flexibility for the Spring and Summer 2021.  

Staff are making the most of the current situation to reduce maintenance closures in the future as well as ensure timely re-openings.  Projects include Arena board maintenance, icemaking equipment servicing, scheduled building and mechanical maintenance, interior painting.

The arena features:

  • 15,000 square feet of exhibit space
  • Bench seating for 250
  • Score board with flexible scoring and timing capabilities
  • 1 meeting room
  • 4 multi-use dressing rooms
  • Wheelchair accessible on ground level
  • Food services available
  • 31' high ceiling
  • Parking stalls for 155

Drop-in Schedule

Helmet Regulations

CSA certified hockey, ski or snowboard helmets are mandatory for anyone participating in Learn to Skate lessons. Bike helmets are not permitted as they do not offer the protection needed for ice skating. There are a limited number of helmets available free of charge for lesson participants.
